We are excited to announce simulations featuring SIMULIA technology at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022, a free fully-virtual experience taking place February 7-9. Attendees will learn more about our robust and proven simulation tools, including Abaqus for advanced Structural FEA and CST Studio Suite for Electromagnetics. The user interface and workflows are unified, results and data are easily shared between applications, and cloud computing is available when needed.

Introduction to Electromagnetic Engineer Role
Led by Emmanuel Leroux, WW Industry Process Consultant Director, Dassault Systèmes, this session will introduce why we need to simulate electromagnetics in advanced products. Then an overview of the Electromagnetic Engineer Role on 3DEXPERIENCE Works will be shown, including the associativity with SOLIDWORKS using an example of a patch antenna. To proceed, the power of high-performance computing on the cloud will be featured using an example of a 5G antenna for a mobile phone. Finally, examples in life science, high tech, industrial equipment, home, and lifestyle will be shown and typical applications will be explained.

Solving Complex Contact Problems With Abaqus on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
In this session, Omar Zohni, Industry Process Consultant, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS, and Matthias Ernst, Industry Process Consultant, Dassault Systèmes discuss Abaqus, the most powerful FEA tool for structural mechanics on the market. With the integration of Abaqus into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, SOLIDWORKS users can access these capabilities and solve complex simulations. This often includes numerical contact, which is a highly nonlinear effect and usually not easy to solve. This presentation will use typical simulations with challenging contact problems and show you how to solve them efficiently. Additionally, there will be general recommendations and contact-related tips and tricks.
