We are delighted to announce the release of GEOVIA Surpac 2021.
Surpac 2021 introduces a highly available license server as well as various improvements to its Roles capabilities, such as the ability to update a geometric grouping of solids with volume and grade information directly from the BM report and more.
Highlights of this release include:
MANAGED DASSAULT SYSTÈMES LICENSE SERVER (DSLS)
Managed DSLS is a highly available license server managed by Dassault Systèmes. It allows companies to:
- Reduce capital costs as there is no need to purchase additional hardware to run license server.
- Reduce operating costs as the service is managed by Dassault Systèmes.
*DSLS is available with the newly released Surpac Role.
**DSLS is currently available for New Surpac or MineSched Licenses or for Surpac or MineSched Licenses that migrate to Roles.

GEOVIA Block Modeler Role
GEOVIA Block Modeler now supports complex ranges in coloring by Block Modeler attribute and more.
BM Code Solids
New function to add metadata directly from a Block model to a SDM file with the ability to store tonnage and grade information directly into the SDM file solids, that opens up a workflow for reporting and data transfer to other packages such as GEOVIA MineSched.
BM report to SDM
The ability to update a geometric grouping of solids with volume and grade information directly from the BM report has been integrated as a feature and is particularly useful when reporting groups of solids.

Sorting SDM files by metadata
Sorting of SDM using metadata now allows very large files to be sorted efficiently.
Solid volume report (metadata)
The solid volume report now supports SDM metadata, enabling the spreadsheet style output.

Surpac 2021 is available to upgrade at no cost to GEOVIA maintained customers covered under the Dassault Systèmes Support & Maintenance agreement. The latest version of GEOVIA solutions can be downloaded from 3DS Support.
