We are delighted to announce the release of GEOVIA MineSched 2021.
MineSched 2021 presents the definition of variable drilling rates and the ability to undo and redo up to 20 actions while setting up a MineSched scenario as well as a highly available license server managed by Dassault Systèmes.
Highlights of this release include:
MANAGED DASSAULT SYSTÈMES LICENSE SERVER (DSLS)
Managed DSLS is a highly available license server managed by Dassault Systèmes. It allows companies to:
- Reduce capital costs as there is no need to purchase additional hardware to run license server.
- Reduce operating costs as the service is managed by Dassault Systèmes.
*DSLS is available with the newly released MineSched Role.
**DSLS is currently available for New Surpac or MineSched Licenses or for Surpac or MineSched Licenses that migrate to Roles.

Variable Drilling Rates
The drilling activity at a surface mine can often be the bottleneck to continuous production. Factors like material hardness can have a profound impact on the drilling rate, so being able to model the impact of a range of factors, will empower mine planners to produce more robust and accurate production schedule. Users are now allowed to:
- Define a drill rate re-rating factor to each defined material class
- Pre-populate a mining activity spreadsheet with an overall drilling rate de-rating factor
When either option is applied, the drill rate de-ratings will be applied to the production rate to slow down the drill rate based on the individual locations.
Undo-Redo
When setting up MineSched, it is common to manage large lists of mining conditions while preparing for a schedule. Losing track of changes that have been made can result in a significant loss of time. We have listened to the needs of our users, and MineSched now allows the following:
- Undo and redo up to 20 actions made in each active scenario
- Undo and redo actions made in each individual spreadsheet while in spreadsheet view

Solution Availability
MineSched 2021 is available to upgrade at no cost to GEOVIA maintained customers covered under the Dassault Systèmes Support & Maintenance agreement. The latest version of GEOVIA solutions can be downloaded from 3DS Support.
