We depend on cities. As incredibly diverse ecosystems, half of the people on Earth already live in cities and this number is expected to increase to 68% of the population by 2050. Cities present the opportunity for prosperity and greater quality of life, but they also present great challenges. Urbanization is already responsible for 75% of global CO2 emissions and factors like rising populations, climate change, and resource depletion will require cities, businesses, and governments to find new, sustainable solutions for mobility, infrastructure, agriculture, health and more.

As more people decide to make cities their homes, how can we ensure they are safe, smart, and sustainable for future populations?

This month, Dassault Systèmes will reveal to the world Urban Renaissance, an incredible light show exploring the future of cities through a 3D mapping display. This light show will be presented during a live event engaging panel discussion with industry experts like Bodgan Zaha from Zaha Hadid Architects.

When: Tue, Jan. 31, 2023
