Instead of scrapping old diesel trucks, a company in California has an alternative solution that breathes new life into them, reduces their environmental impact and saves owners money in the process. Evolectric develops electrified transportation and battery technologies for commercial vehicles. It’s created an out-of-the-box retrofit solution – managed entirely on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud – that turns existing combustion-engine vehicles into what Evolectric refers to as CircularEVsTM.
Within days, a team of engineers and local mechanics can swap out the truck’s existing internal combustion engine and parts for a smart electric powertrain, cooling system, battery, electronics and chassis, and refresh the cab to look as good as new.

All of Evolectric’s electrification technologies are developed on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud. It’s now using the platform to roll out its CircularEV solution to underserved markets where cost barriers and lack of EV infrastructure might prevent fleet owners from switching to more sustainable transportation.
