China sells more electric vehicles (EVs) than the rest of the world combined. Over the course of just two years, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) sold in the country grew fivefold – from 1.3 million in 2020 to 6.8 million in 2022: that’s more than eight times the output of the US, where approximately 800,000 EVs were sold in 2022.

Staying ahead in a market this competitive requires foresight, speed and efficiency, as China-based automotive manufacturer Shineray Group has discovered.

To innovate faster and more efficiently, the company sought a single integrated platform on which it could create accurate BOMs, streamline collaboration between disparate teams, make customization of vehicles easier and facilitate more effective change management.

It’s achieved all of this and more thanks to Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
