Do you know the Modeliscale project? Today; no Modeling and Simulation language and tools has the capability to address such barrier (large scale &, multi modes). Therefore, innovative concepts are emerging to tackle this challenge.
Innovation concepts are emerging from Inria labs; to propose a new paragdim (new approach, algorithms and methods).
Prototypes are developed in Dassault Systemes; CATIA/Dymola and 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA.
Multi physics libraries will address electric, energy storage, heat networks, and buildings with support of SME DPS & Eurobios. The open source EDF ;DACCOSIM NG co-simulation tool will be enhanced. Demonstrators from EDF and ENGIE, major energy providers, will evaluate how these barriers are broken down : the whole Velizy grid city (Paris area) is considered by EDF; while a full heat production and transport network is considered by ENGIE for the real case of Lyon suburban city (Rhone area).
Additionnaly, CEA Tech research center will evaluate the value related to its multi energy multi energy micro grid located in the Alps.
