Context
As part of a university project, I have to build a functional miniature travelling crane.
Nevertheless, the budget allowed to this project is quite low and therefore it is necessary to limit the costs to the maximum.
Then I remembered the salvaged copper pipes that I have at home, and I started to investigate on tubular structures. A certain type of structure caught my attention, the scenographic structures, made of square & triangular trusses :
