For more than 10 years, the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab has been a hub of innovation. Today, a significant source of it comes from the entrepreneurs in the lab’s accelerator program. Occasionally, founders from around the world can pitch their ideas in order to join the lab’s ecosystem.

Access to accelerator programs is a significant competitive advantage for founders. Some of the most successful companies in the market today got their start through accelerators, including big names like Airbnb, Dropbox and Instacart. The technology and mentorship access can be make-or-break in some cases, and the lab’s offerings are attractive to innovators representing a wide variety of sectors.

Over the years, thousands of startups have applied to participate in the lab’s pitch sessions, and only a select few are chosen to participate. Let’s take a look at some of the startups that pitched last year and are officially now part of the program.

How the accelerator’s pitch sessions work

Twice a year, the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab hosts a pitch session at the Dassault Systèmes corporate headquarters in Velizy, France.

The biannual event, which is also livestreamed through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, is attended virtually by thousands of company employees. Startup founders present their companies and products, highlighting the potential impact they hope to make via participation in the lab’s accelerator program. The pitches are quick – five minutes, maximum – after which the jury can ask follow-up questions. Employee votes are cast while the jury convenes and makes its final deliberation. They also offer detailed, actionable feedback to rejected startups to help them improve and increase their chances for acceptance at a future session.

In addition to the 25,000+ company employees who can livestream the pitch session and vote on the submissions, leaders from across the organization serve on the juries that make the final call on a start-up’s acceptance. In 2025, jury members included:

  • Co-founder and Chief Architect Bernard Charlès
  • Executive Vice President, Corporate Research & Sciences Patrick Johnson
  • Vice President, Corporate Marketing, Communications & Identity Victoire de Margerie
  • Chief Sustainability Officer Philippine de T’serclaes
  • 3DEXPERIENCE CEO Morgan Zimmerman
  • OUTSCALE CEO Philippe Miltin
  • High-Tech Vice President Stéphane Sireau
  • Infrastructure, Energy & Materials Vice President Corinne Bulota
  • Life Sciences & Healthcare Vice President Claire Biot
  • Chief Corporate Strategist Sébastien Massart
  • Mentors Valéria Nuzzo and Youssef Mazloum
  • And 3DEXPERIENCE Lab employees Ekaterina Bovkun and Franck Mahon

Spotlight on the startups

In 2025, seven startups were accepted into the accelerator. They represent startup ecosystems with innovative solutions for solving complex global challenges across a number of industries, from sustainability to health to energy:

  • Connected Consumables, a German medtech startup introducing digital data monitoring into traditionally non-technical medical devices and components
  • Oncoelectronics, a French company with a mission to enhance cancer treatment efficacy and safety through innovative medical implants
  • Proxima Fusion, a German fusion energy company building a new kind of reactor technology based on supercomputers
  • CGreen, a French sustainability startup that’s recycling cellulose to generate a lower-emissions alternative to carbon fiber
  • Immunyfit, an Indian outfit using a systems-based approach to develop tailored care for gut-immune and autoimmune patients
  • DiaMentis, a Canadian healthtech company building a software-based diagnostic tool for mental health
  • Flint, a Singaporean firm designing a sustainable, environmentally-conscious battery alternative

Together, these companies’ products, ideas and innovations support nine of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an important requirement of participation in the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab’s accelerator program. Because the lab’s focus is on assisting founders and their companies to make a positive impact on society, efforts to support the SDGs are a core component of the program.

Driving future innovation

Over the next two to five years, these startups will have access to a suite of Dassault Systèmes software that will enable them to innovate and scale to meet the demands of their respective markets. They’ll also be able to receive access to company FabLab facilities, marketing and communications support and mentoring from Dassault Systèmes’ employees, who can volunteer up to 10% of their time to advising these early-stage companies.

Previously accelerated startups include:

  • .Lumen, an award-winning accessibility company making glasses for the visually impaired that have the potential to meet the needs of blind populations in ways that guide dogs can’t
  • Lattice Medical, an innovative medical device development company that develops bioengineered implants for reconstructive surgery
  • Midipile, an alternative transportation company creating fuel-efficient vehicles for a sustainable future

Accelerated startups have gone on to successfully disrupt their industries and impact society in positive ways. Strong By Form, a lab alum, was selected as a TechCrunch Startup Battlefield Top 20 finalist in 2025 and presented their product, an engineered wood to replace concrete in construction, at the publication’s annual Disrupt event. Corneat Vision, another accelerator participant, pioneered a successful surgical method to restore sight to blind and visually impaired patients. With the tools and expertise available through the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, these startups and more have been able to exponentially increase the impact they’re able to make.
