Artificial intelligence is entering a new phase.

Beyond generating content or predicting patterns, AI is beginning to understand and operate complex physical systems. This shift is particularly significant for industries such as manufacturing, life sciences and infrastructure, where decisions must be grounded in scientific reality.

By combining scientific modeling, virtual twins and accelerated AI infrastructure, Dassault Systèmes and NVIDIA are helping establish a new foundation for Industrial AI — one capable of transforming how industries design, simulate and operate the systems that shape our world.

From AI models to Industry World Models

Today’s AI models learn patterns from data. Industrial systems, however, require something more: AI grounded in science and the laws of physics.

Dassault Systèmes’ ambition is to address this challenge through Industry World Models, built on decades of scientific and industrial knowledge and know-how.

These models power virtual twins on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, enabling companies to design, simulate and optimize complex systems virtually, even before they exist in the real world.

When combined with accelerated computing and AI infrastructure, these virtual twins evolve into intelligent environments where AI can reason with scientific accuracy.

The Rise of Agentic AI for Industry

The emergence of agentic AI represents a fundamental shift.

Beyond static software tools, engineers, scientist and business leaders can now collaborate with AI-powered virtual companions that understand industrial context and assist in complex decision-making.

On the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Dassault Systèmes is introducing a new generation of these AI assistants:

  • Aura, orchestrating knowledge and context across requirements, projects and changes,
  • Leo, solving complex engineering challenges across disciplines from design to production,
  • Marie, supporting scientific discovery in chemistry, biology and therapeutics research.

These companions reveal the combination of Dassault Systèmes’ Industry World Models with NVIDIA accelerated computing and NVIDIA Nemotron open models.

Building the Industrial AI platform

The collaboration between Dassault Systèmes and NVIDIA establishes a shared industrial AI architecture combining virtual twin factories from Dassault Systèmes and NVIDIA AI infrastructure, open models and accelerated software libraries.

Together with NVIDIA, we are building the Industrial AI Platform relying on three pillars:

  1. A unique industrial AI architecture that powers the Virtual Twin Factory of the World with an AI infrastructure deployable at scale.
  2. Science-validated world models that position industrial AI as a mission-critical system of record — not a point solution.
  3. The 3DEXPERIENCE agentic platform accelerated by NVIDIA, grounded in Science and Industry with Dassault Systèmes knowledge and know-how, that expands long-term value creation across biology, materials, engineering and manufacturing through a new way of working – our Virtual Companions.

The ambition is to increase by a factor 10 sustainable innovation in all industries.

Dassault Systèmes will integrate NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure and software across its 3DEXPERIENCE platform, enabling customers to use virtual twins together with generative and predictive AI. This infrastructure will power Dassault Systèmes’ industrial virtual twins with NVIDIA AI models and accelerated libraries, opening new possibilities in biology, materials science, engineering and manufacturing:

  • Advancing life sciences and materials innovation: An AI-native molecular modeling stack pairing NVIDIA BioNeMo™ and NVIDIA BatchedMD with BIOVIA science-based world models helps teams explore and design novel molecules and advanced materials faster and with greater confidence.
  • AI-accelerated design and simulation: SIMULIA AI-based Virtual Twin Physics Behavior leveraging NVIDIA CUDA-X™ libraries and AI physics libraries gives designers and engineers near-instant insight into product behavior, enabling rapid iteration and better-informed decisions.
  • Virtual twins for next-generation factories: NVIDIA Omniverse physical AI libraries integrated into the DELMIA Virtual Twin support more autonomous, software-defined factories that can be optimized, tested, and reconfigured in a virtual environment before changes hit the shop floor.
  • Dassault Systèmes is accelerating the design and optimization of AI factories, by integrating Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) into the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint, enabling a unified digital thread that bridges the gap between complex systems architecture and real-time operational virtual twins, accelerating time to first revenue, and optimizing tokens per watt.
  • Intelligent Virtual Companions for 3DEXPERIENCE platform users: Autonomous, long-running agents are the next wave of AI, turning complex, multi-step work into seamless, automated workflows that get smarter over time. On the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, this comes to life as intelligent Virtual Companions, powered by Dassault Systèmes’ Industry World Models and the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit.

NVIDIA and Dassault Systèmes’ are also working together on NVIDIA NemoClaw — an open source stack that simplifies running OpenClaw always-on assistants, more safely, with a single command. As part of the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, it installs the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime—a secure environment for running autonomous agents, and open source models like NVIDIA Nemotron.

Demonstrating Industrial AI at GTC 2026

At NVIDIA GTC 2026, a global AI conference running March 16 to 19 in San Jose, California, Dassault Systèmes is demonstrating how this architecture can transform industrial innovation.

In the Industrial AI and Robotics Pavilion, Dassault Systèmes showcases how virtual twins, Industry World Models and AI-powered virtual companions can help companies address their most complex challenges, from drug discovery to advanced manufacturing and sustainable product design.

Executive sessions throughout the week will explore how Industrial AI is scaling to operational reality.

3D UNIV+RSES are science-based environments that bring together modeling, simulation, data science and AI. They represent the seventh generation of innovation in Dassault Systèmes’ 40-plus years

Virtual companions are AI-driven capabilities that assist professionals by leveraging validated world models and industrial knowledge. They support a new way of working, by augmenting human expertise rather than replacing it and enabling more informed and reliable decision-making.

“Knowledge” and “know-how” are terms Dassault Systèmes uses to describe a company’s corporate knowledge and ability to apply it. While knowledge is static and describes the theoretical understanding of a subject, know-how is dynamic and describes the discipline of putting knowledge into action.
