Dassault Systèmes Vice President-Industries Olivier Ribet recently presented a step-by-step example of how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform enabled software engineers to quickly 
modify the BeaMy, a bluetooth, wifi-connected, combination loudspeaker and video projector. When market response indicated a need to improve image clarity – a software enabled function – the entire product development team, including software engineers, the system architect, product development managers, marketing and others were able to work simultaneously. Using visual tools, in real time, from different locations creating an improved product. By consolidating all data into a single repository, the platform allowed software engineers to reuse and capitalize on existing engineering, and rapidly modify the product. Once completed, the product and user experience were tested and validated virtually, through 3D imagery generated directly from the platform.
