The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), the peak body for resources professionals and Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE company, have announced a new partnership that will showcase the technology company and its leading developments to resources professionals globally.

The partnership will combine the expertise of both AusIMM and Dassault Systèmes to bring cutting-edge innovation and world leading professional development, directly to those working in the sector.

Together with the AusIMM, Dassault Systèmes will be directly working to support professionals in accessing the latest information on technological developments in the resources sector, through online delivery, webinars, digital content series, and articles across AusIMM platforms.

AusIMM CEO Stephen Durkin welcomed the new partnership between the two institutions.

“AusIMM is working hard to ensure our organisation, and the professionals we represent, are well-positioned for an even stronger future. This means aligning with the strongest brands and like-minded organisations who share our goals to promote and uphold industry standards and best practice,” Mr Durkin said.

“That’s why we’re delighted to announce this partnership with Dassault Systèmes, which will see us work closely together on promoting the core aims of the AusIMM to a wider audience, engaging more deeply with the METS sector, and showcasing excellence.”

“We have a long history of helping companies to achieve their sustainability goals through technology and innovation. We look forward to working closely with AusIMM members and sharing our knowledge and know-how across industries,” said Thomas Grand, Vice President, Energy and Materials Industry, Dassault Systèmes.
