Just about one year ago, we announced that our customer ASE won Fiatech’s coveted CETI award in the category of “Mega-Project”.

Now we have more exciting news to share: Dassault Systèmes and ASE together have won the Atomexpo Award in the category “Innovation for the Future.”

The joint project for which the prize was awarded was based on the ASE Group of Companies (the engineering division of the state corporation Rosatom) desire to develop an innovative project management system for the construction of complex engineering facilities. “Multi-D” provides optimization and control of the timing and cost effectiveness during construction of capital construction projects. It allows for more efficient management of parameters such as budget, time and quality. To make this happen, ASE adopted our 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which provides optimization of complex business processes.

Multi-D has already proven itself in the construction of Russian and foreign nuclear power facilities: it was used in the construction of units 3 and 4 of Rostov NPP, as well as 1 and 2 power units of the Yuzhnouralskaya GRES. This technology is also applied in all Russian models of nuclear power plants located in Russia and abroad.

The head of our energy, process and utilities sector, Thomas Grand, summed up our excitement over this award.

“Having strong partnerships with our customers allows us to deliver more collaboration and control on digital engineering in the Energy, Process & Utilities industry through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Along with our customers, we are re-imagining how digital thread can drive efficiency and cost savings into these massive projects. We thank the international jury of the Atomexpo Awards for this recognition and we look forward to continuing to partner with ASE and other industry leaders to drive efficiencies into the building of world-class facilities.”

Atomexpo Awards is an international professional award for the outstanding services of the world industry companies that have made a significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry. The competition of projects of companies participating in the Atomexpo Forums (in 2009-2018) was held in five nominations: “Best Start”, “Atomic Technologies for Improving the Quality of Life”, “Innovations for the Future”, “Public Acceptability”, “Development of Human Capital”. Applications for the competition were filed by companies from 22 countries.
