We are excited to share that Dassault Systèmes, through our 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, is a partner of the new permanent exhibition “Robots” at cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, Paris, the largest museum in France focused on sciences and technologies.

Open for the next five years, the exhibition aims to democratize robotics. It presents authentic robots in working order to make visitors aware of their relationship with these machines and encourage them to consider how they work today and may operate in the future. The hope is people leave with a better understanding of the usage of industrial and domestic robots and how they contribute to a revolution in daily life and a promise to improve our well-being.

Dassault Systèmes is offering the general public the Roboscopy experience. Through a real-time dashboard created by our NETVIBES brand, visitors can learn from real-time robotics news. They interact with the content via a touch table where they view a visual mosaic of articles, statistics and trends in the field of robotics.

A second interactive 3DEXPERIENCE experience provides visitors with a unique, simple, didactic experience that helps them better understand how robots work. Another large interactive touch table invites visitors to interact in 3D with digital models of the robots seen across the exhibition. They can explore the guts of the different machines through an “exploded” digital view that exposes their inner workings.

These two experiences are the digital twins of each of the robots across the showcase; they link the real and the virtual world in a single exhibit.  This also allows people to directly play in our 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

If you’re in Paris, we hope you’ll swing by!  In the meantime, enjoy a few pictures from the exhibit.
