The FD03 release delivers an array of enhancements across the ENOVIA portfolio. These updates help engineering teams further reduce review cycle times, improve submission consistency and make better use of shared talent, continuing ENOVIA’s established track record of delivering feature-rich releases throughout the year.

ENOVIA has long been a trusted platform for engineering and product lifecycle management (PLM) teams. Release after release, the platform delivers focused, practical improvements that help engineering organizations collaborate more effectively and maximize innovation across global teams. The FD03 release is no exception.

With OVER 180 NEW ENHANCEMENTS delivered in this latest release, we can only highlight a few in this post (don’t worry, all the details are available for you in the ENOVIA User Community). Here are three highlights out of the over 180 new enhancements delivered from this latest update:

  • Comment on Individual Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) Elements
  • Simplify Regulatory Submissions
  • Allocate Work More Efficiently

Comment on Individual Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) Elements

For teams working with the review apps in ENOVIA (available in Digital Mockup Validation Manager or Digital Mockup Review Manager roles), the FD03 release introduces the ability to select an individual Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) element and add a review comment to it. Previously, reviewers couldn’t add a review comment to a specific FTA, making it difficult to trace exact source of the feedback.

For design reviewers, this enhancement enables more precise feedback documentation. For product leaders, it helps in reducing ambiguity and ultimately shortening the turnaround time for product changes.

Simplify Regulatory Submissions

The Regulatory Manager role now supports a structured submission format organized by product, product configuration and applicable countries. Rather than building submissions from scratch or working outside a consistent template, regulatory teams can now create new submissions within a defined structure that reflects the complexity of global compliance requirements.

Consistency in regulatory submissions significantly reduces the risk of errors and delays, thereby offsetting the potential high costs of clearing multiple markets. This enhancement also greatly improves the work of engineering leaders responsible for operational compliance.

Allocate Work More Efficiently

The Workforce Manager role gains new capability in FD03 with tools for assigning work across shared talent pools. Engineering organizations that operate across multiple teams or regions often struggle to match available resources to active workloads in real time. This update makes it easier to identify capacity and assign tasks in a way that improves scheduling and resource utilization. For teams of all sizes, better workforce allocation means fewer bottlenecks and more predictable delivery timelines.

Explore Everything the FD03 Release Has to Offer

Remember, these three features represent just a portion of what’s included in the ENOVIA R2026x FD03 release. Each update reflects ENOVIA’s ongoing commitment to delivering meaningful, role-based improvements that address real workflow challenges—not just incremental changes.

The ENOVIA User Community is the best place to explore the full scope of the FD03 release. There you’ll find detailed enhancement overviews and videos organized by role, so your team can quickly find what’s most relevant to their day-to-day responsibilities.
