The H1st Vision isn’t just a concept; it’s a marvel featuring over 20 innovative technologies. From a secure biometric access control system to predictive hazard alerts, optimized range and recharging, continuous monitoring of driver and vehicle health, to an awe-inspiring audio system designed in collaboration with French composer Jean-Michel Jarre — every detail is meticulously crafted to enhance the user experience.
This initiative is a collaborative effort by six partners: Atos, Dassault Systèmes, Orange, Renault Group, STMicroelectronics, and Thales, forming an open innovation ecosystem dedicated to intelligent, secure, and sustainable mobility.

Next stop, the Festival of The Future held at the renowned Deutsches Museum in Munich. Amidst the displays of cutting-edge technologies and forward-thinking concepts, we brought the “AI Think, Therefore AI Am” experience.
At the heart of this showcase was an exploration of the intersection between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human creativity. 3DEXCITE took attendees on a journey into the realm of AI, inviting them to contemplate the profound question, where does creativity and AI converge to compliment each other?
The exhibit delved into the depth of AI’s capabilities, showcasing how it has become an integral part of our creative processes. Through interactive displays and immersive demonstrations, visitors had the opportunity to witness the symbiotic relationship between human ingenuity and AI’s computational prowess. 3DEXCITE’s contribution not only celebrated the potential of AI but also encouraged a dialogue about the future landscape where humans and machines collaborate seamlessly.

The recent 3DEXPERIENCE Conference in Darmstadt was a nexus of innovation, featuring the groundbreaking H1st concept vehicle Virtual Twin demo in the Playground. Attendees were treated to an immersive experience, delving into the future of connected mobility through software-defined vehicles.
A highlight of the event was a breakout session where 3DEXCITE CEO, Tom Acland, engaged in a riveting discussion with Eric Feunteun, COO Software République & Renault Groupe, and Olivier Savin, CEO/Founder of Blue Spirit Aero (BSA). The trio explored the pivotal role of strategic ecosystems in delivering next-level customer experiences, sustainable innovation, and connected products.

Magic Wheelchair 3DS Detroit | August 8th 2023
In a heartwarming endeavor led by Brandon Hafeli, 3DS Detroit presented its inaugural Magic Wheelchair build to a remarkable young soul named Ryen. This inspiring project, realized on August 8th at the Detroit Zoo, reflects the culmination of creativity, collaboration, and compassion within the 3DS Detroit community.
Ryen, a spirited youngster with a passion for wolves and anime, particularly admires the lightning-conjuring abilities of Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. The Magic Wheelchair team at 3DS Detroit, with the support of colleagues in the Royal Oak office and contributions from the Waltham, Pune, SOLIDWORKS, and GoEngineer teams, poured their collective talent into crafting a unique, awe-inspiring costume for Ryen’s wheelchair.
Magic Wheelchair, a non-profit championing larger-than-life embellishments for children’s wheelchairs, has received unwavering support from SOLIDWORKS, the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, and La Fondation Dassault Systèmes over the past five years. Ryen’s chair marks a significant milestone as the first Magic Wheelchair project initiated in Michigan, showcasing the power of innovation and inclusivity.
Ryen’s customized wheelchair features two majestic wolf heads, intricately designed in xShape and 3D printed with soft noses, gums, tongues, and glowing eyes. The wolf bodies, sculpted from foam and adorned with faux fur, flank the sides of Ryen’s chair. Adding an electrifying touch, thunder clouds beneath the wolves raise lightning from the ground, bringing Ryen’s anime-inspired dreams to vibrant reality.
