Noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) has a significant impact on the ride experience for drivers and passengers inside vehicles. Controlling the noise and vibration produced by the drivetrain improves the quality of the entire vehicle. Check out the Tech Talk on using Simpack to analyze the NVH of drivetrains and electric drive systems. We are also delighted to announce that Manatee is now part of the SIMULIA portfolio. This tool helps improve the NVH of electrical machines throughout the development cycle.

Many multibody systems include flexible elements which cannot be modeled with rigid body methods alone. If your work involves these kinds of systems, you might find our talk on combining Abaqus and Simpack to simulate flexible body systems useful. Meanwhile for “hardware-in-the-loop” (HiL) simulation users, we have a Tech Talk on how Simpack Realtime enables HiL in wind turbine testing rigs.

Finally, if you would like to build your simulation knowledge, discuss challenges with SIMULIA experts, and network with your peers, join us September 5-6 in Chongqing, China for the 2024 Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA Simpack User Day. This two day event will include training workshops, customer presentations and updates from the SIMULIA team.
