EXALEAD joined its Dassault Systèmes colleagues in demonstrating the power of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, held last month in Nashville, Tennessee. A community of designers, engineers, entrepreneurs and business leaders gathered together to learn about innovative new technologies, share tips, be inspired by industry leaders, and collaborate with peers.
The hub of the event, the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground was vibrant and busy, with partners showcasing new tools and applications and customers eager to see hands-on demonstrations of the new solutions in action. EXALEAD team members were there to demonstrate PartSupply Marketplace, as you can see in the photo.
Available directly through SOLIDWORKS on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, PartSupply Marketplace enables enterprises to define a custom catalog of sourceable components to be used by engineering and design. Procurement leaders can choose from tens of millions of parts from more than 800 suppliers globally. From the platform, users can evaluate 3D parts and easily narrow down components using the power of semantic and 3D-similarity search. With the correct part identified and properly configured, users can then insert the component directly into the SOLIDWORKS design environment with one click.
