In 2017, CIMdata researched the prospects for cloud and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) adoption of PLM. The survey found one-third of respondents believed they would move to the cloud in the next two years. A lot has happened since then.
CIMdata felt it was time to re-survey the industry. Dassault Systemes is co-sponsoring the follow up survey.
The goals of the survey are to:
1) Highlight the differences between cloud PLM adoption and adoption of other cloud-based enterprise applications
2) Understand how companies are learning about, choosing, funding, and deploying cloud-based solutions
3) Learn how industrial companies and their PLM software and service providers are responding to cloud requirements
