In the fast-paced world of manufacturing, efficiency, visibility, and innovation are key to staying ahead. DELMIA solutions have been transforming the way businesses operate, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve remarkable results. Here’s how some of our customers are leveraging DELMIA to drive success.
BRIDGESTONE: Achieves Better Decision Making with Enhanced Visibility
Agnieszka Piechowiak, Product Owner DELMIA Quintiq Scheduler at Bridgestone, describes visibility “as a big advantage of using the DELMIA Quintiq Scheduler in European plants. It simplifies training Bridgestone’s schedulers and helps planners make the right decisions.”

She continues: “This is simplifying a lot—how we look at the puzzle and how we are training our schedulers and how the schedulers can take decisions from the—from the current situation from the shop floor. This is the main thing that I see. And the visibility of the current status from many different angles and from many different— silos that we are using, this is much bigger than it was before.”
Bridgestone gains a significant advantage in its European plants by using the DELMIA Quintiq Scheduler, as a standardized intuitive scheduling environment simplifies planner training, accelerates onboarding and enables consistent, high-quality production decisions across sites.
The biggest advantage and this is what we see— is that the daily life of the scheduler is, after all, easier. It is hard work to prepare it and to make it work, of course, but at the end of the day, there is a reward for that. Agnieszka Piechowiak, Product Owner DELMIA Quintiq Scheduler at Bridgestone
CLAAS: Speeds Up Fabrication with DELMIA Machining
Sven Bertelmann, Digital Product Engineer at CLAAS, describes how the company saves time during construction with the use of DELMIA Machining and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

He reveals how it dramatically streamlines its construction and manufacturing workflows using DELMIA Machining on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. CLAAS shifts from traditional machining methods to a digital, highly automated CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) approach that cuts production time, reduces errors and boosts efficiency across complex machining operations. They focus on real-world results: faster programming of CNC machines, improved simulation before physical machining, and closer collaboration between design and production teams.
By moving machining planning into a fully digital environment, CLAAS reduces errors, shortens lead times and brings greater consistency to complex manufacturing operations. Sven Bertelmann, Digital Product Engineer at CLAAS
NEDERLANDSE SPOORWEGEN DUTCH NATIONAL RAILWAYS: Modernizes Workforce Planning
Leo Piet, Product Expert at Nederlandse Spoorwegen, the Dutch National Railways, talks about the advantages of replacing older legacy systems with the DELMIA Quintiq Workforce Planner. He looks forward to the option to add a lot of new functionalities to the application and therefore make better decisions.

They are currently implementing a DELMIA Quintiq Workforce Planner at Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). He states that the “objective with implementing Workforce Planner is to replace an older legacy system back from twenty, thirty years ago. The NS created themselves our own planning system. We are currently replacing that system as-is, so no additional functionalities yet. But what we see is the horizon, where we can add a lot of new features to the planner and to the planning application itself, which enables the planners to make better decisions in daily operations.”
NS highlights that replacing fragmented legacy systems with the DELMIA Quintiq Workforce Planner delivers a single, modern planning platform that improves workforce visibility, reduces complexity and enables faster, more confident scheduling decisions across the organization.
Our objective of implementing the Workforce Planner is to enable the planner, the main user of our system, to make better decisions in a shorter amount of time. And you can do that with better visibility on, for example, the skillset that a certain employee has. Doing that, the plan will be better, with less effort— or that’s hopefully the objective of the implementation. Leo Piet, Product Expert at Nederlandse Spoorwegen
