Discover the next generative experiences of Engineering at COExperience and MCSS 2025
From April 7–10, 2025, innovation took center stage in Reno, Nevada. Two independent annual events, COExperience 2025 and the MBSE Cyber Symposium MCSS 2025, were held in parallel at the Grand Sierra Resort. While both were supported by CATIA, they operated separately, with their own websites, registration processes, and session tracks. They offered unmatched opportunities to discover generative experience and connect with experts. Attendees also explored solutions for the next generation of engineering challenges, including AI, modeling, and simulation.
COExperience 2025 brought together the vibrant user community of Dassault Systèmes’ solutions. It featured solutions such as CATIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, MODSIM and NETVIBES, focusing on product development, simulation, and collaboration. This event emphasized engineering productivity and best practices in design.
MCSS 2025 focused entirely on systems engineering professionals. Specifically, it emphasized MBSE, SysML, and the integration of cybersecurity in systems design. This event served as a hub for those working on complex systems, particularly in Aerospace & Defense and Transportation & Mobility sectors.

What You Missed – Insights from Two Distinct Communities: MBSE at MCSS and Engineering Innovation at COExperience
A standout feature of these events was the convergence of two distinct communities: designers & engineers and systems engineers. Together, they explored the benefits of innovative end-to-end virtual twin experiences and their real-world applications.
When Communities Converge: Real-World Innovation, Immersive Tech, and Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Bringing together two vibrant communities, Tuesday’s plenary sessions stood out with 5 customer-led presentations from Volvo, Virgin Galactic, Bell Flight, Boom Supersonic, and Sierra Nevada Corporation. The sessions also featured an immersive Apple Vision Pro demo and a CATIA R&D talk, highlighting real-world challenges and innovation.
COExperience attendees explored the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, showcasing the synergy and the collaboration between design, product lifecycle management, and systems engineering in a forward-thinking environment.
The joint TechniFair, energized by 38 sponsors, became a hub for live demos, idea exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, demonstrating CATIA’s impact on the future of engineering.

MCSS 2025 – Advancing MBSE for Cyber Systems and the MBSE Environment for Aerospace MBSE
Speakers at the MBSE Cyber Symposium 2025 (MCSS) delivered deep insights on integrating MBSE solutions with cybersecurity to enhance efficiency and strengthen security in system design. With expert-led sessions and demonstrations, participants learned how Cameo Systems Engineering and solutions like CATIA Magic can refine the design process, ensuring both security and precision from the outset. This MBSE environment empowered professionals to tackle the evolving challenges in Aerospace & Defense and Transportation & Mobility.
In support of these goals, MCSS featured 138 breakout sessions, 83 led by Dassault Systèmes experts and 55 by customers-led into the latest strategies for implementing model-based systems engineering and securing complex digital systems. These sessions provided attendees with real-world applications, lessons learned, and actionable insights to drive MBSE adoption across high-stakes industries.

COExperience 2025 – Exploring Generative AI, Data Management & Modeling-Simulation
COExperience 2025 was an immersive experience where users of Dassault Systèmes’ solutions like CATIA, SIMULIA, and DELMIA had the chance to sharpen their skills and explore new ways to enhance workflows. The technical sessions and expert-led labs, in particular, proved invaluable for engineers looking to implement advanced methods in their daily projects.
Along-side this learning journey, COExperience offered 114 breakout technical sessions, 60 led by Dassault Systèmes experts and 54 by customers. Thanks to those they covered a wide spectrum of topics from simulation-driven design to data management and collaborative engineering. These sessions allowed users to dive deep into real-world use cases and emerging best practices. They helped participants get the most out of their tools and accelerate innovation within their organizations. From CATIA Shape Design & visualization to Generative AI, Concept Structure Engineering to accelerate product development, Automation Driven Manufacturing, MODSIM, Lightweight Engineering, Digital Continuity, MBSE Electrical, Data Intelligence and more.

Moments That Inspired – Hands-on Applications of innovations
COExperience 2025 Training Highlights
At COExperience 2025, six hands-on training sessions immersed attendees in Dassault Systèmes’s solutions, like CATIA and SIMULIA. These sessions allowed participants to gain practical, guided experience. These sessions were designed to help users explore advanced features and techniques. They aimed to unlock the full potential of these tools for their workflows and innovation goals.
MCSS 2025 Training Highlights
The MBSE Cyber Systems Symposium (MCSS) 2025 featured the innovative CATIA MAGIC CAB session, diving deep into systems architecture modeling. This hands-on training focused on CATIA Magic (formerly No Magic), a tool central to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). It offered attendees the chance to improve their systems modeling skills and explore the latest in cyber systems. Plus, the INCOSE exam opportunity provided a chance for those looking to earn systems engineering certification.
Game On! Learning Through Play and Competition
The competitive spirit at both events was alive and well. The CATIA Game Show tested CATIA expertise in a dynamic and interactive contest. This engaging format challenged competitors to think on their feet and demonstrate their deep knowledge of the tool. Congratulations to Patrick Voosen, who claimed the crown as the top competitor! The COE Passport to Prizes game also encouraged attendees to explore the event.
Adding to the excitement, the Top Gun Challenge put participants’ design speed and creativity to the test in a high-pressure, 25-minute competition. With valuable tech prizes on the line, the challenge sparked intense focus and friendly rivalry, highlighting just how quickly engineering talent can deliver under tight constraints.
