Highlights include the launch of Commercial Virtual Twin as a Service, revolutionizing digital product visualization, and 3DEXCITE Create and Show, redefining immersive content creation. We also introduced software-defined products, enabling unparalleled customization and adaptability. The advent of generative AI for content production has further accelerated our vision. Looking ahead to 2025, we anticipate emerging technologies like spatial computing transforming enterprise industries, unlocking even greater potential. NVIDIA GTC 2024

At NVIDIA GTC 2024, 3DEXCITE showcased cutting-edge advancements in real-time rendering, generative AI, and immersive visualization. We illustrated how AI-driven tools empower creators to deliver high-quality, interactive experiences faster than ever before.


3DEXPERIENCE World 2024

At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024, 3DEXCITE spotlighted Product Communicator and Product Demonstrator, powerful cloud-based tools tailored for SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS designers. These innovative solutions streamline downstream workflows, enabling seamless visualization, communication, and interactive product demonstrations, empowering creators to bring designs to life with speed, precision, and unparalleled clarity.


3DEXCITE Live 2024

3DEXCITE Live 2024 featured two key digital events. Beyond Automation explored the evolution of robots from repetitive tasks to intelligent collaborators, using Virtual Twin technology for real-time monitoring and adaptive learning. The event focused on human-robot collaboration, ethical considerations, and preparing for societal shifts. Meanwhile, Workforce of the Future reimagined education, stressing the need for new skills to navigate rapid technological advancements, shifting economies, and societal change. It called for a focus on transformation themes, balancing current demands with the uncertainty of future needs, to better prepare the workforce for tomorrow’s challenges. Future of Connected Mobility Program

Dassault Systèmes launched the Future of Connected Mobility marketing program, focusing on innovations in digital technologies like Virtual Twins and IoT. This initiative explores transportation transformation, promoting smarter, safer, and more efficient solutions. It emphasizes advancements like autonomous vehicles, predictive maintenance, and sustainable systems, reshaping how mobility experiences are designed and managed. 3DS Detroit | Automotive Showcase

On May 16th, 2024, Dassault Systèmes proudly hosted the Automotive Showcase | 3DS Detroit at our newly established Technology Center in Royal Oak, Michigan. This exclusive event highlighted the cutting-edge technologies driving innovation in the automotive industry. We showcased our advanced solutions, which bridge engineering, design, and user experience, empowering automotive companies to rethink the future of transportation and mobility. Attendees gained invaluable insights into how our tools revolutionize product design, simulation, and visualization. The event underscored our commitment to shaping the future of automotive engineering and helping our customers navigate the rapidly evolving automotive landscape.


Mobile World Congress

At Mobile World Congress 2024, Tom Acland, CEO of 3DEXCITE, explored the latest technological innovations, emphasizing the convergence of engineering and user experience. He highlighted the importance of digitalization in transforming product development and marketing, enabling companies to deliver personalized, immersive experiences to consumers. Acland’s insights underscored the role of advanced visualization tools in bridging the gap between complex engineering processes and engaging customer experiences. VivaTech 2024

At VivaTech 2024, Tom also showcased the U1st Vision, a modular concept vehicle developed by Software République. This innovative vehicle exemplifies the future of mobility, offering adaptable solutions for diverse urban needs. During the event, Acland and Chloé Gilles demonstrated immersive experiences, highlighting the vehicle’s capabilities and the potential of digital technologies in transforming transportation. Their presentations underscored 3DEXCITE’s commitment to advancing sustainable and adaptable mobility solutions.


Farnborough

At Farnborough International Airshow 2024, 3DEXCITE supported Vertical Aerospace, showcasing their cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft. The collaboration highlighted the role of immersive digital solutions in the aerospace industry, with 3DEXCITE’s advanced visualization tools enabling realistic, real-time presentations of Vertical Aerospace’s designs. During the event, Tom interviewed Borna Vrdoljak, Head of Product & Customer Marketing at Vertical Aerospace, about the company’s vision for sustainable urban air mobility and the future of aviation. The discussion emphasized the importance of digitalization in accelerating the development of new aircraft technologies and enhancing the customer experience through immersive digital twins.


SOLIDWORKS Champion Checkmate Challenge

In 2024, SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXCITE hosted the Checkmate Challenge, inviting SOLIDWORKS Champions to design a chess piece using 3D Sculptor (xShape), 3D Creator (xDesign), or SOLIDWORKS. Participants submitted impressive designs, with Theodore Chortatsos emerging as the winner. His design was rendered in xStudio and showcased on the SOLIDWORKS User Forum. Theodore played a friendly virtual chess game against SOLIDWORKS CEO Manish Kumar as part of his prize. The event highlighted the creativity and skill of the SOLIDWORKS community, fostering engagement and innovation among users.


Commercial Virtual Twin as a Service

This year, Dassault Systèmes has launched its Commercial Virtual Twin as a Service (CVTaaS), a cloud-based solution designed to revolutionize digital marketing and customer engagement. CVTaaS enables businesses to create dynamic, interactive product content before physical products are available, offering immersive experiences and tailored marketing assets. It ensures data protection with advanced encryption while empowering organizations to deliver localized, personalized content.
